High School Program: First Robotics Competition (FRC)
Take it to the next level with our High School team, from using CAD to model, to machining and wiring our robot, to testing sensors and PID controllers! Learn how to code with Java and a software library from WPI. The typical FRC season runs from January through April, with additional off-season opportunities.
The Red Hawks are a rising team in the New England district and attended the World Championship for the first time in 2023.
Grades 4-8 Programs: VEX Robotics and First Lego League (FLL)
Love Legos, but wondering what’s next? Come join our Lego teams! Registration for FLL teams runs from grades 4 to 6; and for VEX teams, from grades 7 to 12. The season starts in September and runs through December (FLL) or January (VEX)!
In the past, Melrose teams have made it to State, New England and World Championships in their respective leagues.
