The Red Hawk Robotics team flew to the top of the qualifying  matches, finishing second in a field of thirty-nine New England teams. The team also won the Judges Award, which recognizes one team at the event who delivered overall program excellence.

The robot driven by Brennan Cesar, Kate Urchuk, Addy Hickey, and Sammy Mounsif had the 2nd highest combined score of the whole season for all of New England as of that event and the 9th highest score while driving by any team in all of New England. This was the result of an impressive combination of robot engineering and driving skills.

At the same event, Kate Urchuk was selected as a Dean’s List Semifinalist. This award recognizes students who fully achieve engineering excellence on the team, and also excel academically in school.

From here the team will attend the New England Championships in Springfield, Massachusetts where 80 of the best teams from all over New England will compete for their ticket to the World Championships.
