We are happy to announce that the Lego Lords won the Strategy and Innovation award at the FLL state championship. They were awarded this because of their ingenuity and their well developed strategy. They won the same award at their State Qualifier because of their exemplary performance. In order to ensure their win at the Championship they modified their robot to be more efficient in their missions. They used the feedback that was given to them at the qualifier to improve their robot. Their score went up more than thirty points from scoring 102 at the qualifier to 138 at the championship. The main issue the Lego lords faced was with their light sensor which malfunctioned multiple times during their missions. So for the championship they improved their program and was able to have it work properly in all five of their matches. Let’s go Lego Lords!
